~ FCC SUMMER BBQ ~

Our local Families with Children from China had their summer BBQ this past weekend. All the rain during the week paid off - we had a sunny, beautiful day (and weekend!).

The BBQ was in a park by the water - such a pretty area - although it was bit windy (so glad I brought those sweatshirts my husband told me not too!). When we pulled up in the parking lot Mia immdiately spotted the playground; which is where she wanted to be most of the time...

Meaghan Grace and her family where also at the BBQ - Mia talked about Meg in the car the entire time. I tried my hardest, but these are the best shots I could get of the girls:

~ MIA MAKES A BEAR ~

Mia has been ready for days for her friend, Taylors birthday party. It is so cute the way she says, "my friend". . . this was such a fun party for a very special girl:

Mia really enjoyed this party ~ she was mesmerized by the stuffing station; and decided mommy was better off stepping on that peddle :) When she had to choose an outfit for "teddy" all she said was "pink" ~ gotta love having a little girl :)

~ PLAYING AT THE PARK ~

Mia and mommy met our friends/cousins at the park the other day ~ it was sunny and warm, warmer than we thought...but such a nice day to play at the park:

Then, we walked next door to get pizza and to cool off a bit. Maddy had some Hanna M*ntana music 'chips' and patiently showed Mia how to use them. It was just so sweet:
