~ 3 MONTHS HOME ~

We have been a complete family since September 13th, when we came home to our boys with their sister, Mia Hope Yudan... the months are flying by! It has been such a busy time of year: beginning school, Halloween, Thanksgiving and now Christmas! Mia is adapting and growing each day. She is saying more words and communicating much better ~ her screaming mimi fits are ...you know what, last time I said this, she had a fit that very day ~ so you get the idea without me actually writing it :) Brother #2 is coming around and trying to play with Mia and seems more empathetic towards her. I know it's a phase and things will work out, but it is hard at times. The biggest brother falls more in love with her by the minute and continues to shower her with affection, whether she wants it or not :)

I continue to look over at her and just pinch myself... she's here, she's actually here!! Not sure how long it will take to sink in, but I am truly thankful for our blessing that is Mia Hope!

I know that feeling- I still have to pinch myself every day that my princess is finally home too. The picture of the kids together is precious. I know you feel blessed.

Great shot! You have many things to be thankful for this holiday season. It's just so nice to take a deep breath and take it all in. It's a dream that we shared with you, and you made it come true. It is the season to BELIEVE...:)

Joanne,
What a little personality Mia has! Enjoy your wonderful Christmas together!!
Our son #2 also had a tougher time adjusting to life with his new sister. We all traveled to China so I thought things would be different. He never had any jealousy or anything he just did not seem to bond or have much patience for her as our oldest did. Our oldest bonded with his sister right away and has always been very protective and caring towards her. Our younger son loves to tease his sister and does not let her get away with things. I know he loves her to pieces they just all 3 have very different sibling realtionships with one another. It is fun to watch them grow together. Your son will come around and they will bond to have their own special relationship. Don't worry!

Merry Christmas!
