~ ADJUSTMENTS ~

Wow, I have 3 children! Sometimes it just...hits me! I'm the mom of three!

There has been a lot of bonding and learning about one another going on around here...as well as sibling rivarly ~ just like any other house with kids. Mia is really doing well : sleeping well (she will wake during her nap at least once just to see that I am there or where she is. I walk in and pat her back or pick her up for a minute and then put her down and leave and she is usually fine!) and during the night, she can wake up from once to ...well, a few times crying. I will pat her back or pick her up for a minute and put her right down. She calms right down (usually) and I am amazed at how well that is going.

She is eating better and better and trying new things. She had scrambled eggs and toast 2 mornings in a row! Still NO bottle or milk or formula though...that still worries me. I will get the Prov-Vit's and I'm sure it will make me feel better at least!

Mia is constantly smiling; however, she can be VERY stubborn and still has her "screaming-mimi" fits usually when I can't figure out what she wants.

Oh, the funniest thing is that she will bring me my shoes because she LOVES to go outside! If she sees my sunglasses she just about hypervenilates and yells and wants me to put them on and go outside! Look out if I'm busy and cannot go out at her beck and call ~ I'm sure you can hear her in CA!!

Enjoy the pic's below:

Penny is never far behind!

Look out, here comes trouble!

She is very determined...she sees the STEPS!

"I can do it!"

"Yaaaay, I did do it!"

I am so glad Miss Mia is trying more and more tasty things... it's only been a week since she has been home and look how far she has come! I am sending my love to Anthony (hating that he is hurt!).
And of course..sending huggies to Edwards XOXO

Love always.

Jo, Dop you feel like you've
completed a triathelon by the end of the day? I certainly do...and I LOVE IT!! Isn't it cool?! I had a long 6 year gap between the 2nd and 3rd, so I was used to just our two kids for so long. Our kids are now 12, 9, and almost 3, and I still look at them together and say to myself happily, "Oh my gosh, I HAVE THREE KIDS!!" Because 2's company, but 3's not just a crowd...it's a PAR-TAY!! Your kids are BEAUTIFUL!! Keep those photos coming!!

So nice to see all three of your children together - how wonderful!
Mia looks right at home, and cute as can be. I'm sure the night wakings are no fun - in fact I know they aren't, as Kayla's been waking us up a few times a night lately, too. But it sounds like she sleeps relatively well overall, and will probably be sleeping GREAT before you know it.
Each day will get better than the last - I can see it happening already. You are all doing so well, even with all the craziness.
Love, Miriam
