Mia's christening day was surreal. I thought I would be a blubbering, sobbing, emotional mess. I felt myself tear up quiet a few times; however, I wanted to remember and fully experience her special day. I really did!Mia was wonderful, but extremely "busy" and wanted to move nonstop; which was difficult at times during the ceremony. She is a two year old afterall, and was not expected to just lay there like the other darling babies did. It made picture taking very hard ~ that is the one thing I regret, not getting better pictures. My "paparazzi", as the Deacon called them, tried their best and got some gorgeous shots ~ thank you my paparazzi!!Here are some photos from our day:"Thank you, my Godparents!"

I cried when I saw/read these...for a few reasons. I know how important this day is to you, and like you, I am amazed that it is here, that she is here in your family! I also must confess that a portion of the tears were because I soooo would have liked to be there, and I am sad that we are not closer at hand to experience joys like this together. But such is life, so I am thankful I got to be a little fly on the wall via this blog :-)
Mia looks beautiful, and I love seeing everyone together!
Love, Miriam

The Christening was beautiful from the moment she put on her precious little white dress (beautiful sunny day) till the breath-taking party dress that came on and (well.. then started to snow/foggy.. but who's looking outside anyway!)But then it CLEARED UP! Yeah!
Moral of the story- with all of the crazy and fun things that happened that day (you are too funny with your last comment, by the way!).. the room was filled with so much love and laughter.. and the celebration Miss Mia was absolutely wonderful!
