It's been a busy Spring over here. It has also been a very wet Spring! We have had many, many baseball practices & games cancelled due to the crummy weather ~ now, we have to get ready to make-up all those games!

We've also been busy planning a baby shower for our wonderful neighbor, who is adopting from Taiwan. . . but more of that to come at the end of this post ~

Mia "helping" mommy hang valances ~
Mia Hope loves her Tinkerbell shoes!

Mia has been into role play lately.
She loves to take care of her baby doll ~
it is so sweet to watch her :)

It was so nice to get outside in the fresh air
We've been couped up inside SO much!

On Friday, Eddie's "K" class had it's Mother's Day Tea. We have been looking forward to this day, and it is a memory now that I just treasure ~ me & my boy together ~ I'm smiling just thinking about it :)

The kids sang songs and danced ~ oh so cute!
"E" dressed in a shirt & tie (love the sneakers too!)
because he wanted to look special for this day :)
After the songs, the kids came back in the room
with a chef hat & apron, clipboard & pencil
ready to take the moms' orders!
(I chose a black & white cookie, purple grapes & water!)
This "smile" is so-daddy= trying not to smile :)
My boy & me!
The mom's sat at the table with their own "personalized" place mat & a pretty decorated flower pot & flowers :) It was so nice to have that individual time with Eddie & he just sat on my lap and hugged me. . . I could go on and on ~ it was just special :) I love you so much honey!!!

On Friday night we held a baby shower for Lisa! The planning & preparations went off without a hitch ~ it was such a lovely night, and it was so nice to see our wonderful friend showered with love & gifts!! Paige is 5+ months and is currently in foster care in Taiwan. She has two big brothers and her mommy & daddy are hoping to bring her home this Spring/Summer. We are all very excited to meet this very little beauty, who is loved so very much already :)
A Shower to welcome Paige Min Shan!

Lisa was VERY surprised!
She thought she was taking a walk with Meaghan Grace's mommy!!

Lisa (and her niece, Taylor) surrounded by many gifts!!
