Then, on Sunday we had more friends over to carve our pumpkins ~ or as Mia would say "to celebrate the pumpkins birthday", hee, hee :) I kept telling her we were going to have our friends over to carve pumpkins, watch the football game and have snacks...she turned it into a "pumpkin party" and it just turned into a birthday party for the pumpkins...actually, it should be POOR pumpkins :)
The kids were so into picking a pattern and carving this year ~ with each year they get more independent and want to do it all "themselves". It's hard watching your child with a knife...but they did really well (the big ones) and we were so proud of the outcome!
she just adores him and lights up around him
(I think he kind of likes her too :)
The kids had fun blowing out the candle (over & over & over again :)
"Shhhhh", don't tell him it's a pumpkin cake!
"Happy Birthday Pumpkins!!"
"Happy Birthday Pumpkins!!"
